Effective date: October 9, 2026
This policy covers the internal Pinterest publishing tool operated by skwid for the @skwidco Pinterest Business account. It is not a consumer-facing app and is used only by the owner of skwid to publish and manage skwid product Pins.
With the account owner's authorization, the tool may access Pinterest account, Board, and Pin metadata needed to publish Pins and prevent duplicates; Pins created by or associated with the skwid account; and OAuth access tokens used to authenticate Pinterest API requests.
The tool uses this access to create product Pins that link to skwid listings on Etsy, read skwid Boards and Pins, and retain created Pin IDs for internal publishing records and analytics.
Pinterest OAuth tokens are stored only in the owner-operated skwid environment as protected server-side configuration. Pin and Board metadata is stored locally only as needed for the publishing workflow, duplicate prevention, and internal reporting.
skwid does not sell, rent, share, or use Pinterest account data for advertising profiles, data brokerage, or any purpose unrelated to operating its own Pinterest publishing workflow. The tool does not collect Pinterest passwords and does not act on behalf of third-party Pinterest users.
The tool may use Cloudinary to host product images before they are supplied to Pinterest as public Pin media. Etsy is used as the destination for product links. Those services process data according to their own policies.
OAuth tokens are removed or replaced when they are revoked, expire, or are no longer needed. Publishing records are retained only while useful for operating skwid's catalog and social-media workflow. The account owner can request deletion of stored Pinterest-related publishing records.
skwid uses reasonable technical measures to protect stored OAuth tokens and limits access to the internal publishing environment to the account owner. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
This policy may be updated as the skwid publishing workflow changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
